It was a gloomy start of summer in San Francisco in 2011 when label boss Sam Supa attended a BBQ with a banging sound system in a remote industrial part of town where trolley cars go to die. There he heard lots of great music but it was a tall, skinny kid, with a beanie pushing buttons and making fantastic sounds happen that caught his ears. BENITO hails from SF and makes what we like to call futuristic, beat-driven, space juke or footwork for Martians if you please. Ethereal in nature with minimal drums and imaginative patterns that are other worldly but carried by solid bass. BDR is proud to present 5 tracks by BENITO we feel push things forward.
